The prospect of finally seeing the cruise ship facilities sorted in NSW is long overdue and bravo on the progress announcement made today by the NSW Government,” TTF Chief Executive Margy Osmond said today.
TTF congratulates the Government on announcing its open invitation to the industry to work on a potential third cruise terminal for Sydney to be in Port Botany.
TTF looks forward to being part of the market engagement process so that all key stakeholders can move closer to delivering more capacity for Sydney’s growing cruise industry.
“The cruise industry is a vital part of the NSW visitor economy, delivering $2.75 billion dollars annually as NSW looks to welcome close to 1.6 million passengers this cruise season alone.”
“Cruising is critical to the NSW tourism mix and we applaud the Government for taking the steps to ensure that we can progress to the next stage.”
