David Speers is the host of Insiders on ABC TV and a regular political commentator and contributor across the network. David was previously Political Editor of Sky News Australia for 19 years, based in the Press Gallery at Parliament House. He has anchored dozens of state and federal election broadcasts and leaders’ debates during that period. David has won three Walkley Awards, a Logie Award and a Kennedy Award for Political Reporting.
