Susan Wheeldon

Susan Wheeldon has been Airbnb’s Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand and Oceania since October, 2019. Susan joined Airbnb from Google, where she spent four years in a variety of roles, including Head of Government & Performance and Head of Agency.

Passionate about entrepreneurial leadership, she has more than 20 years of experience across the tech, travel, e-commerce, legal and property sectors.

Susan has held previous positions as Vice President of Groupon and Founder & Manager of Virgin Atlantic’s International Exchange Program, as well as Head of Brand & Retail at AMP Capital, which delivered more than $5 billion in revenue from the firm’s 38 retail assets in Australia and New Zealand.

Susan has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and holds a number of board positions, including Non-Executive Director of Centuria Capital Limited.
