Bruce Baird’s professional career has spanned the Australian Trade Commission service and the NSW and Federal Parliaments. He was a Federal member for Cook for nine years and during that time he was Chairman of both the Trade Committee and the House Standing Committee on Economics. He previously held roles as NSW Minister for Transport, Tourism, Roads and Minister for Sydney’s Olympic Bid. Prior to this he was Australia’s Assistant Trade Commissioner in Germany and Trade Commissioner in New York. Prior Board positions include Chair of the National Rail Corporation, Chair of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, Chair of Advisory Board of Screen Producers Australia, Chair of Kamay Project-Heart Research Institute Board, Chair of BE Sydney, Trustee of Sydney Opera House, Board Member of Sydney Theatre Company and Member of International Advisory Board of Cubic Transportation Systems.

Brian Brennan is the CEO of Transdev Australia and New Zealand, overseeing Transdev’s light rail operations in Sydney and heavy rail in Wellington.
His public transport experience spans 25 years in different transport modes across Europe and Australia.
He has deep light rail experience having led Dublin’s Luas tram network in Ireland helping deliver a 98% customer satisfaction rate.
Brian has been pivotal in the delivery and operations of Sydney’s light rail and mobilising the city’s newest tram line taking shape now in Parramatta.
His passion is developing people & serving customers – enabling about 200 frontline leaders this year through training to grow themselves and improve customer experiences.
Brian embraces and actively encourages inclusivity and diversity, is committed to sustainable transport and promoting public transport as a critical social enabler.
He lives in Sydney with his family, is a regular on the trams, ferries and buses and occasionally you might spot him on early morning jogs through the suburbs.
Brian has served as a Public Transport Association Australia New Zealand (PTA ANZ) Board Director since 31 May 2023 and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Anna is currently the Head of Sustainability, Strategy & Planning for Uber’s ridesharing business across Australia and New Zealand. She joined Uber in 2021, and has focused her work on electrification, future horizons of growth, and reimagining the way our cities move for the better. Prior to Uber, Anna led strategy as a co-founder at a climatech startup in Singapore, was a strategy manager at Jetstar in Melbourne and spent several years in banking at Citi and JP Morgan across NYC and Melbourne.She loves problem solving, electrification, chocolate, and exploring Sydney with her husband and 5-year old daughter.

Daniel is a self-confessed aviation “nut” who had a dream as a young boy to be a part of what he considered to be the most exciting industry in the world. He has been able to realise his dream by participating in the aviation sector for the past 20 years.
Responsible for a range of activities across multiple business functions during this time, Daniel has obtained a diverse range of skills and experiences that have helped him to both shape the world that we live in and inform the world he wants to live in.
Since 2021, Daniel has been responsible for all aviation fuel related activities at Virgin Australia, including both the short term operational and longer term commercial and strategic approaches. During this time he has driven a holistic approach to fuel management, particularly in the context of aviation decarbonisation.
Prior to joining Virgin Australia, Daniel spent 18 years at the Qantas Group. He holds a Bachelor of Aviation in Management and a Master of Commerce in Business Strategy from the University of New South Wales

Danny drives the asset management strategy IFM Investors’ infrastructure funds. He has extensive experience in finance and business operations in the infrastructure, construction, transport, public-private partnerships, manufacturing and retail sectors. Prior joining IFM Investors, he served as CEO of South Australian Health Partnerships, Director of Public Private Partnerships for Leighton Contractors, General Manager of Transurban Victoria and Finance Director of Linfox Asia Pacific. Prior to this, Danny was the CFO or senior finance executive for a number of multinational blue chip companies including Coles-Myer, General Mills, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Unilever. Danny is a board member of Australia Pacific Airports Corporation (Melbourne Airport).

Stephen joined Airbus in 2022 as Chief Representative and Head of Country, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. He is responsible for representing Airbus at a corporate level, covering all the business divisions: Commercial, Helicopters, Defence & Space. He is also a member of the Airbus Asia Pacific Leadership Team.
Prior to Airbus, Stephen was the Global Head of Public Affairs, and Managing Director Australia & New Zealand, for Temasek, the Singapore headquartered investment company. He has held previous senior regional and global communications roles with Microsoft and Singapore Airlines in Singapore, and was Chief of Staff to the Deputy Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory. He started his career working for QANTAS in a customer service role.
Stephen is a Graduate of the University of New England in Australia, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is also an experienced Board Director in both Singapore and Australia. He is on the Boards of Mandai Park Holdings, the parent company of Singapore’s Zoo, Night Safari and Bird Paradise; Perfection Fresh, an Australian business that grows and distributes fresh fruit and vegetable products; and the European Australian Business Council.
He has been appointed by the New Zealand Government to the Sustainable Aviation Aotearoa (SAA) Leadership Group, and represents Airbus on the Australian Government’s Jet Zero Council. Both bodies advise governments on pathways to sustainable aviation.
Stephen was awarded the COVID-19 Resilience Medal by the Singapore Government; a national award recognising the substantive contributions of those who participated directly in Singapore’s fight against COVID-19.
Stephen is a citizen of Australia and Ireland and a permanent resident of Singapore. He lives in Canberra and Sydney, and in his role, travels frequently to support Airbus’ presence in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Rachel is Head of Sustainability and responsible for ensuring sustainability continues to be core to everything we do at JANA. She is also the chair of JANA Sustainability Advisory Council and a member of the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative’s technical advisory group (TAG) on the Australian Taxonomy.
Rachel has an established advisory career covering risk and commercial litigation. Rachel has spent over 10 years in the finance industry developing investment strategies which minimise regulatory and fiduciary risk through the effective integration of ESG into investment and lending decisions. Most recently at Westpac, Rachel was the lead risk advisor on the creation of its sustainable finance framework designed to guide future credit decisions to in line with client transition to a net-zero carbon economy. Prior to that Rachel was regulatory counsel for State Street Bank in Asia Pacific and Europe where she assisted institutional investors in setting up responsible investment frameworks.
Rachel holds a Master of Behavioural Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a combined Bachelor of Arts (politics) and Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University.

As the CEO of Ecotourism Australia, Elissa leads a team of dedicated professionals supporting more than 1800 certified tourism operators across Australia, who are committed to protecting our natural environment, promoting our culture and heritage, and implementing sustainable tourism practices. Building on the globally recognised ECO Certification for nature-based tourism operators, in late 2022 Ecotourism Australia launched a new Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard and Sustainable Tourism Certification to support all tourism operators and visitor economy businesses across the country on their sustainability journey.
A passionate advocate for wildlife, marine and environmental conservation, Elissa is on the Board of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA); has been a member of the Australian Tourism Awards Judging Panel and Chair of the Queensland Tourism Awards Panel; and is a Judge in the international Green Destinations Top 100 Stories awards. She was previously a non-executive Director of Reef Check Australia, an innovative citizen-science environmental charity dedicated to empowering people to take positive action for conserving reef and marine environments. Elissa also champions female representation in leadership and is a mentor and former Corporate Executive Board Member with Women in Aviation International and a mentor in the ATEC Elite Program supporting young professionals in tourism.
Elissa has vast executive experience within the tourism, aviation, government, corporate, and peak body sectors including Virgin Australia, Airservices Australia, Queensland Airports Limited, the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and Surf Life Saving.

Cameron commenced his career in the agricultural industry as a research scientist at Bayer Australia’s veterinary research centre in QLD. An interest in the adoption of new technology across the sector prompted Cameron to undertake a Masters of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour.
Since then, Cameron has developed broad experience in senior executive roles in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods multinationals. Prior to becoming Taronga’s CEO, Cameron managed teams across marketing, communications, education and life sciences.
As CEO, Cameron has led a major transformation of Taronga from being zoological parks into a global wildlife conservation organisation. Over this time, Taronga has significantly diversified its education, tourism and hospitality businesses now running a University Degree, vocational training, and a diverse range of high-end eco experiences which includes a 62-room retreat. The Taronga Institute of Science and Learning has since received global awards for its work in wildlife conservation and sustainability. Taronga is also recognised as a key leader in wildlife conservation, re-wildling and sustainability.
Cameron is a Non-Executive Director of the International Rhino Foundation and sits on the Advisory Board for the University of NSW Faculty of Science. Cameron has also held Board Director roles for the Jane Goodall Institute Global Board and was Chair of Ecotourism Australia. While President of the Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australasia, he oversaw the implementation of an advanced wildlife animal welfare audit and accreditation program for the Oceania region. This methodology has since been adopted for the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums audit process.
In 2021, Cameron was awarded the Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to wildlife conservation, to animal science education, and to zoological associations.

Darek is a change manager and influencer in the transition to sustainable transport, currently working as Project Director eMobility at UGL Pty Limited, where he leads decarbonisation opportunities for UGL’s transition to new energy transport and charging infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand.
With 17 years of industry experience, Darek is a driving force in advocating for decarbonisation of the transport sector with a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly public transport and shoreside charging to vessels to improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He also delivers insightful advice, hosts impactful training sessions and symposiums.
Darek played a leading role in the decarbonisation of Auckland’s public transport bus and ferry fleets and infrastructure specifications in New Zealand. He was a Chair of the New Zealand Low Emission Bus Working Group tasked with overcoming challenges and removing barriers to earlier adoption of zero emission buses in New Zealand.

As Regional Manager of Oceania for Booking.com, Todd Lacey, oversees Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, managing business growth, operations and strategy, based in the Sydney office.
Lacey has been part of Booking.com since 2015, most recently as interim Area Manager for South Korea and prior to this he was the Area Manager for New Zealand.
Todd is an avid traveller who particularly enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines within Asia-Pacific. From bustling cities of Tokyo and Bangkok to the serenity of Bali, Todd is drawn to the diversity of experiences and landscapes that can be found in this region. In his free time, Todd likes to spend time fishing or enjoying the coastlines of Australia and New Zealand. And when he’s not travelling or fishing, you can find him watching AFL, Rugby or Formula 1.

Prior to her current role, Kerrie’s roles included Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Airport, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Airports, and Executive Director of the Macquarie Group in investment banking where she specialised in regulated assets, transport, utilities and social infrastructure.
In the last 15 years, Kerrie has taken a leadership role in shaping her organisations’ approach to their sustainability, and social and economic impact. More recently at Venues NSW, her focus has been on the stadiums’ sustainability in terms of their sourcing, customer offerings, climate impact and community programs.

Shannon joined QAL after more than 18 years in management consulting at Bain & Company, advising companies in Australia, the US, Europe and Asia across multiple sectors, including retail, media & entertainment, consumer products, financial services, and private equity.
Shannon also held key operational roles, leading the human capital functions, supporting strategy development and mobilisation, and managing the day-to-day commercial operations of Bain Australia.
As QAL’s CSSPO, Shannon oversees the development and execution of the strategy, delivery of the company’s ESG agenda, communications and stakeholder engagement, and people & culture.

Andrew is the Assistant Secretary for Net Zero from the Australian Government’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. Andrew and his team are leading the development of the Australian Government’s transport sector plan, the Transport and Infrastructure Net Zero Roadmap, which will examine the potential pathways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all transport modes (road, aviation, maritime and rail), freight and supply chains, active transport planning, and supporting infrastructure. Andrew is a 2020 Sir Roland Wilson Scholar, 2015 Churchill Fellow. Andrew has worked in safety, health and environmental policy development, governance, planning and evaluation.

Margy Osmond is the Chief Executive Officer of the Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF) and Australia’s most prominent voice advocating for the tourism, transport and aviation sectors.
TTF is the peak industry group for the Tourism, Transport and Aviation sectors and advocates for the public policy interests of the leading corporations and institutions in these sectors. Margy has extensive experience in policy development and advocacy, politics, membership organisations, management, media and public relations. Margy is a passionate advocate and supporter of eco and sustainable tourism in Australia.
Margy has served on a wide range of boards across tourism, sport, theatre and major events, including as deputy chair of Sydney World Pride 2023 Board, NSW TAFE Commission Board and the Deputy Chair of Tourism NSW. Margy’s contributions extend further into the realm of sports and commerce, where she chaired noteworthy events like the International World Masters Games held in Sydney in 2009, showcasing her expertise and dedication to fostering growth and collaboration across diverse sectors. She is currently a member of the Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) board, Co-Chair of the Tourism Working Group of the Australia New Zealand Leadership Forum (ANZLF) and sits on the Federal Government’s Biosecurity Futures Passenger Facilitation Group.

Andrew Parker was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer in August 2021 to drive the Group’s sustainability and ESG (environment, social and governance) strategy and commitments.
This includes the Group’s 2050 net zero emission plan – one of the first of any airline worldwide – and our program for waste and plastic eradication. He also manages the integration of ESG in to all aspects of the business.
Prior to this role, Andrew was Group Executive – Government, Industry, International and Sustainability from 2013 to August 2021, having led the Group’s Sustainability efforts since 2017.
Before Qantas, Andrew was Senior Vice President – Public, International, Industry, Environment Affairs at Emirates, based in Dubai and was a key architect in the Qantas Emirates alliance that launched in 2013.
Andrew previously worked in public affairs, government and journalism.
He is the Chair of the Australia Day Council of NSW, and a Director of Street Side Medics.

Emma Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sunshine Coast Council – one of the largest local governments in Queensland serving a population in excess of 340,000 residents and one of Australia’s fastest growing regions. The Sunshine Coast Council is pursuing a transformational agenda to strengthen the region’s economy, improving the region’s liveability, enabling community connectedness and inclusion and maintaining an outstanding natural environment and landscape.
Prior to joining Council, Emma held a range of chief executive and senior executive leadership roles with the Australian Capital Territory, South Australian and Queensland governments. She is a values-based leader with a passion for, and commitment to, sustainable regional economic development and fostering social inclusion, community diversity, connectivity and accessibility. These elements are an integral part of her focus and leadership as Sunshine Coast Council CEO.
As the CEO, Emma is responsible for an organisation with a budget in excess of $816 million, more than $6 billion in assets, over 1,800 people and overseeing one of the most innovative policy, program and infrastructure delivery agendas that seeks to position Council as a national leader in local government excellence and the Sunshine Coast as the most liveable and sustainable region in Australia.
